Those employed in any field involved in serving and selling a wide range of alcoholic drinks. It is ideally undertaken by people who have gained the Level 1 Award but this is not essential.
Spirits enthusiasts are also increasingly undertaking study for Level 2.
If you need a fundamental grounding in the making of cocktails either for your career or personal interest, this Award is for you.
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award aims to be an introduction to the wide range of spirits and liqueurs for those who have limited experience of them. Employees involved in sales and service in hospitality, retail and wholesale will benefit.
Gaining this qualification will enable candidates to guide customers when choosing appropriate liqueurs and spirits. You will achieve a good understanding of the production and distinctive qualities of the main types of spirits and liqueurs. The use of spirits in cocktails is also included.
ALL our WSET® courses are taught personally by Diploma (Level 4) qualified John Callow DipWSET founder of Northern Wine School.
