This course is great if you’re interested in the wines of France: whether for your career or just curious. Great for those studying, or have passed the WSET Level 2 & 3 Wines or higher- Though no prior knowledge or qualifications are required.

IMPORTANT: This course runs on the following dates 27th & 28th November, 5th, 12th & 19th December. The exam will be on the 19th December.

4 weeks of tutored tastings, including 45+ wine samples such as premium Burgundies, Bordeaux classed growths, Champagne & wines from unusual regions like the Savioe, Jura & Corsica.

Includes a self contained, 270 page full colour study manual with sections on the history of wine in France, photographs, regional maps & local foods.

You’ll get 1 year’s access to the Wine Scholar Guild’s e-learning resources to help you revise. Containing videos, interactive maps, quizzes and pronounciation guides.

The course ends in an exam which must be taken in person in Manchester. It is a 60 minute, 100 question multiple-choice exam and you must score 75% or above  to pass. Those who pass will get a certificate and lapel pin and the right to use the FWS post nominal.

Classroom times: 10am-5.30pm each week
