For those of you who don't know Sake is made by fermenting rice. Because rice is a grain, this makes the process more like beer making than wine making. However Sake is not carbonated like beer and the flavours are much more similar to wine than beer.
It is a very food friendly drink and will go with many types of food, not just Asian.
