And then comes the practical; three magnificent courses, each one paired with two wines. Your afternoon is rounded off with tea or coffee and lots of chat about food and wine
Your host for this event will be John Callow – a highly qualified and experienced wine expert who has a passion for wine without the snobbery: learn about it and enjoy it.
Food and wine were meant to go together – and this tasting event proves it beyond any doubt. A lovely glass of fizz on arrival will get you in the mood, as will the gorgeous surroundings of the Ember Lounge at Manchester’s Malmaison. We’ll take you through a wine matching masterclass learning what makes food and wine work so well together and taste some amazing wine whilst doing that.
And then you’ll enjoy a delicious three course meal (Malmaison’s lunch is the stuff of legend) with two different wines to accompany each course so you can increase your knowledge. There’s also tea and coffee to round the afternoon off as well as your wine-matching card which includes all the wines you tried should you wish to find them again. This is a really popular event and an absolutely super treat for you or to give as a present.
We will be in touch with you a couple of weeks before the event as you must order your lunch from the menu in advance so that everyone can eat at the same time and that the event goes smoothly.
