Aroma TRAINING KITS: Improve your sense of smell & write better tasting notes

Whether you’re a wine, spirits, beer or Sake pro studying these amazing drinks, or a fan who would like to understand more, one of our aromat training kits might be just the thing for you. They also make for really good fun quizzes.

Up to 90% of taste comes from smell – that’s a lot of pleasure, and these kits are an amazing way to get to know your favourite drink better.

Get the nose

Do you have a nose for wine, spirits, beer or Sake? Well, this is how you get one! We stock a collection of aroma kits that help you learn about the aromas and characteristics of your preferred beverage. They enable you to identify individual tastes and notes, enriching your vocabulary and also your drinking pleasure.

The kits contain a number of small bottles, each one delivering a specific aroma that can be found in wine, spirits, beer & Sake. You also get beautifully produced companion guides to help you understand more about the bouquets that you’re experiencing. The aromas are guaranteed for five years and, in our experience, last much longer than that if you look after them.

Le Nez du Vin

Developed by a legendary French Wine Chemist, Jean Lenoir, these kits are used around the world by wine professionals and wine fans alike. We use them at The Northern Wine School as part of our tasting experiences and wine and spirits education courses.

These sets are the gold standard for wine & spirits professionals around the world and are especially useful for WSET Level 2, 3 & Diploma students.
